However, marinas form a multi- generational family boating environment, and although Rainbow Boating Club members are proud to be who we are, we welcome and recognize the need for a respectful level of discretion in marinas, gay-friendly boating services, and at sea at all times. In addition, all links on this site are to services for boaters that are either run by gays and lesbians or are gay- friendly. The easiest way to contact a member is just to go to their profile and click on their email link... OR if they have their email hidden, click on the private message icon..
When you send a private message to a member, the system sends out a notification to the member involved...

This is much more reliable than using the chatbox system because members do not always go online to see the chatbox...

In recognition of the need for a boating club for gays and lesbians on the internet and the fact that far too many services on the internet are functioning as cash cows rather than attempting to provide services that their members require, the JTMGroup (Canada) has decided to provide free internet services wherever it can.

The Rainbowboati ngclub is one of those free services. Naturally you are welcome to support our continuing operation if you choose, but this is not a requirement of registration . Any members who have already paid a registration fee may request a refund before March 1, 2008 if they would like to do so.
